So I am curious what you all ever experiences or enjoyed a Parcours trail. I found one near my house that I can walk to. I plan on going until it gets too cold to go there or it closes. How do you log this in your diary? I want to start out walking it and then slowly add jogging. Eventually I want to be able to run this trail.

Here is an explanation on what a Parcours

This is the exercises it has laid out along the trail

Here is an actual map of the trail so you can see how long it is

The trail I run on has a miniature version of this (chin-up bar, horizontal ladder, ladder, step up steps, push up bar, and a rail for 'arm walking' across).. Wish we had a real one though, I used to live close to one years back, before I gave a d***...
As for logging it, I wear my HRM, so I just plug in the calories it tells me under running. I pause my running app when I stop for exercises though, that way I still have a fairly accurate reading on my speed & distance...

How cool is that!?! I think there might be something like that in a park a few miles away, I'll need to check. To record? I'd break down the activities in the course and put them in individually, then add them together and make your own exercise entry. Did you actually do it, yet? Let me know how it goes. Way to find fun activites to burn calories!!

I have not done the little exercises today. I walked 4+ miles including in town hills, walking the beach with rock resistance, and walking that trail and another. We plan on doing this trail at least once a week. Other than that my partner and I are going to try to walk at least 30 minutes a day and try to work up until I can run again. At this point my knees ache from walking. I am unemployed and currently still finding work. I can not afford an hrm that is worth buying. IDK if a cheap one will actually work well.
