Can't seem to eat the proper number of calories

So, when I'm being lazy, it's easy for me to eat 1,200 calories.. and I'll stop at that point

but when I'm busy, (like going to an amusement park, on the town, cleaning, or walking/hiking.

It often ends up that I'm either getting the proper number of calories or working off all the 100-300 calories I'm eating in a day...

I didn't think it's that big of a deal, but my boyfriend got on my case recently...

What should I do?
