Seems to be a plateau...

I have been steadily losing around 2 lbs a week since I started this about 50 days ago, but now I've lost nothing in the last 2 weeks. Except for one dip to 204 last week, I've been at 205 for 2 weeks, and worse still, I did my bi-weekly measurements this week, and they haven't changed by even the smallest fraction of an inch. Is this a plateau, or should I just be patient?

If it were me, I'd give it more time before making any changes.

if your weight doesnt start going down after a few months, even though your making a definite deficit, try upping your calories by 100-200. might sound crazy but this works for alot of people including me. also make sure your eating atleast your BMR. going below BMR is where alot of plateauing happens because it slows your metabolism down like crazy\

happy weight loss! good luck <3

I agree. BTW, at this point, most of what you're losing is really FAT, not water or muscle. So everything you lose is a true loss of what you want to lose. Hold on there!

So many different things can affect how quickly we lose weight. Even men have a natural body "cycle" like women, stress can slow weight loss, and your body is adapting to a new lifestyle (since you said you started 50 days ago, your still pretty new). Give it some time. And I agree with Amanda, if it doesn't change in a month or so, try upping your cals, changing the foods you normally eat, or switching your exercise program. :) Good luck!
