Bump in the road---NSV

As we all know our weight loss journeys are bound to include some rather inconvenient bumps along the way. This morning my first struggle was getting up and pushing through my laziness to get on my elliptical trainer for a quick 30 minute workout. I made it past that bump! I got on my elliptical and 5 minutes in I hear this awful squeaking/grinding sound and knew immediately that something was wrong with it---AGAIN (this happened in the past during a previous attempt to lose weight). I jump off the thing, kick it and cuss a few times and then think about my ruined workout. About 5 minutes later I realized there were many other things to do around my house to get a good sweat session in so I refused to let this little bump get in my way. Though it probably isn't as effective as my elliptical trainer I began to finish my 30 minute workout by jogging (intensely) in place and added dumbbells for extra intensity! This is HUGE for me--- normally when things go wrong with my weight loss I get completely derailed and eventually give up. Nothing is stopping me this time and attitude is definitely the most important key component for my success!!
