HI!

Hello Everyone, I joined MFP just to try counting calories, something I swore I would never do! I had always been fit in my younger years. I'm a single mom of 4 beautiful daughters, my weight gain came after I left the father of my kids. Just this year I was brave enough to get on the scale and saw that I would be ending my life alot sooner that I really needed to if I didn't act fast! I weighed in at 311lbs, so far I've lost 25 lbs by making healthier food choices and being active 4-5 days a week. I have been really motivated to start living for my girls and leading them to eat healthier, I've got to lead by example. My goal weight is 175 lbs. I'm hoping to get there by July 2013. I know it won't be easy but I'm counting on MFP support!

    Welcome :) That's great that you're making a change to your lifestyle! This is a great community with tons of support and has definitely helped me on my journey. Good luck!!
