    2516 (TDEE) - 15% (376 calories)=2140

2140 is your target daily intake. If you burn calories through exercise, make sure that if you burn well past your BMR, eat those calories back to bring you back up again.

Are you saying you are eating a total of 1700-1800 per day and not losing? If so something if just not right. That should be a perfect amount for you to eat if you are working out and burning around 400 calories a few times a week, up to 5 days. Are you maybe underestimating consumption or overestimating calories burnt?

Are you using the Scooby calculator? http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

This is my stats with a 15% calorie reduction:
    BMR of 1622
    TDEE 2230
    Daily Calories 1896

I try to do about 1800 calories because I know I forget things or there may be discrepancies.

you do not eat exercise calories back using the TDEE method..

2140 would be her calorie allowance, every day, assuming you wanted to be15% under tdee.

If you burn past your BMR, then yes you can eat those back to stabilize. If you dont go below your bmr (meaning BMR being your net), then you dont need to.

You don't want to eat below your BMR (1830). Set your goal to 2138 (TDEE OF 2516-15%). Don't eat back any exercise calories unless your NET is below 1830 (BMR) then eat enough to get back up to 1830 & stop.

Hope this helps. It's not fast weight loss but you will lose & feel good & it's sustainable.

I would try to go right in between your TDEE (2516) & BMR (1830).

The difference is 686/2=343 so take 2516-343=2173 should be a good number for you & you can tweak it up or down after you give your body at least 6wks to adjust. (Also for every 5lbs gained or lost you need to recalculate your numbers & above someone suggested the scooby site which is the one quite a few people including me think is pretty accurate & easy to use)

The 2173 includes your exercise for the week so you only eat 2173 calories each day - Even on rest days. Do NOT eat back any exercise calories UNLESS you NET below BMR. Make sense?

ETA: Or like was said above a CUT of 15% is usually a good number to go with and it is very close to the one I gave you of 2173cals/day....The 15% was 2138 - So either of these would be fine or just make it an even 2150 to make it easy for yourself...

Best of luck to you!! :flowerforyou:
