I currently bulk out my fish/bean/vegetable salads with Sainsbury's whole wheat pasta and this is 316 cals per 100g (dry).
Anyone know, in the UK, if there is a lower calorie pasta - i don't mean the nearly 0 carb tofu/shiratake stuff. yuk.
I like a lowish carb bulk food in my salads and under 300 cals per 100g would allow me other snacks ;-)
or other ideas? i eat quinoa, cous cous, pearl barley too, but they're all about the same.

Have you thought about using veg instead? Courgette is quite good as a pasta alternative when ribboned?0
