Anything but.... activity is very important. There are a million reasons why weight doesn't move as fast as we would like. Just think about how long it took you to gain, equally to come off. I can eat perfect and gain 2 pds. Don't worry about it, diet and exercise are the key.0

I've come to the conclusion my body just sucks lol I've been doing this since February and am constantly up and down no matter how much or little I work out--I keep gaining and losing the same 10 lbs getting me nowhere. But even though the scale doesn't show my hard work there are other things that I've just started to notice that definitely remind me that what I'm doing is working.0

Maybe my body just sucks too!! LOL! That really made me laugh! I kept gaining and losing the same two pounds for about 5 weeks. So, I stopped exercising and have lost 3. It makes NO sense to me!!!0

depends on how you define weight loss. if you mean scale loss then yes, but fat loss (which is more important IMO) then no.
for instance 1 month i only lost 3 pounds by the scale but i lose an entire pants size. sure i could have boohoo'd about only losing 3 pounds (and i know some who do), but for me it's better to be look smaller than to be smaller on the scale. after all i dont have to drag around a scale with me 24/7 but i do have to drag around my butt
i'e pretty much stalled scale wise for the past few weeks, but i'm still seeing differences in how my clothes fit so obviously somethign is happening
for the record, my main exercise is from weight lifting and HIIT:laugh:0 -

How often were you working out? If you were working out every day and not taking a rest, then that definitely can happen. Another friend of mine reminded me that while we need a rest day, we may every couple months need a rest week when we get to where we aren't losing anymore. I got to that point, took a week off, then started back up and started dropping weight again.
But also keep in mind those 2 lbs could be water weight, depending on how much water you are drinking and how much sodium intake.0 -
If you're talking about short-term gains and losses (like that "then I lost 3 pounds" comment), it's mainly water retention. When you're working out, your body hangs on to more water to aid with muscle recovery. In the long run, though, you should lose more fat and inches (even if the scale is being a pain) with exercise than without.0

LOL!!! I needed that laugh!
I was working out 6 days a week, sometimes 7. Maybe I just needed a break...I have now rested for 2 weeks, guess I'll start back.0 -
Sounds like you might have needed a rest. I was working out 6-7 days a week from May-July. Lost 27-28 lbs. Then it started to stop. I figured out I needed a rest since I had been going almost non-stop on it, I needed to up my daily calorie goal by 100 calories. When I did that then I dropped 2 lbs the next week, 2 more the week after. You may also need to switch up your exercise routine. Good luck!0
