20 min upper body strength workout?

I don't have much time for strength workouts, as I run 20+ miles a week and do taekwondo 3 or 4 times. I am not going to join a gym and I am not interested in reading up about it, I just want someone to give me an idea what to do.

I realised today that I could probably get to tkd early 3 times a week and do some strength work for 20 mins a time as they have medicine balls and those weights you put on bars ( yes, I have no idea) there.

Any recommendations on what to do?

I would prefer to focus on upper body as my legs are good with all the running and kicking and squats I do. With upper body I do a lot of boxing, push ups ( real ones) and tricep dips, so my arms are pretty good, but arms can always be better?? I think I could do more ab and chest work.

There are people there who are PTs etc who can show me how to do things properly, but I'd like some ideas if anyone can help.

Thanks!

    Hi Lexalotti

Feel free to send me a FR and check out my exercise diary. I work with a PT at least twice a week and do a large number of strength building sessions with her.

If you have any Qs about any of the work outs let me know

If the gym has a cable machine and powerplate, this is an excellent full body workout in 20 minutes. Strength training legs means you are recruiting different muscle fibres than in cardio, type 1 - type 11 or fast twitch slow twitch, hamstring construction is nearly all fast twitch so legs will benefit from strength training.
