Trail Running Shoe

I am going to start trail running. I live in the woods, so there are tons of trails everywhere. Do I need a different shoe other than my Asics running shoes?

You will most likely want something with more grip than your asics. I used to sell shoes at Penneys and I recommend something with good, solid rubber soles and "spikes" if you will. It will feel kind of pokey on the bottom as well as having a really good tread on the shoe. Nike's Air Alvord is a good one, with great arch supports. I own that one myself and I enjoy the support and extra grip I get on the daily as well as when I am in the dirt.0

yes, I would get a shoe specific to trail running. You'll be glad you did.0

If you like Asics, they make a trail runner.0

They seem to be a little less than the regular running shoes too.0
