If you add just one new exercise to your routine...

Consider this an exercise exchange. What new exercise have you discovered recently that has had awesome effects for you that you think everyone else should have a go at?
For me it's push-up to plank:
1. Get into a plank position on elbows and toes.
2. Push up one arm at a time to the top of a push-up position.
3. Lower yourself back down to your elbows and repeat.
I'd actually seen it in magazines and dismissed it as being easier than a push-up OR a plank. How wrong I was! And there's a serious cardio side to it as well as resistance.

Not that I think this exercise is for everyone, but it works virtually every muscle in the body during the lift. The clean and press, even the clean on its own is a great exercise, especially for athletes.0

Power Clean is the only recent addition for me, and it is awesome. Well I take that back I did add ab wheel and heavy grippers and rubber bands (forearm extensors) but those aren't in the same ballpark.0

Great post. Thanks for this, I will give it a go.
Just to note that I think the way it's done in the video he is putting more effort through his right arm than left. To balance things out I would alternate the first arm on each rep.0 -

Edit: By which I mean by the second set for each side I'm quivering and ready to collapse - I have a bruise on my knee from last time :blushing:0
