I have often wondered if I am somewhat allergic to wheat but maybe not in the same sense that some people are. I get really very tired and emotional. I cry about everything. A little doesn't seem to bother me but if I have it a few days in a row I start to show symptoms.
I am wondering if anyone else out there is allergic and what kind of bread do you eat? I like to have my sandwiches some times. There's got to be bread out there that doesn't contain wheat and tastes decent.
Thanks!

There are rice breads out there, but they're not the same. The texture is different and they have a sort of sweet taste. There are lots of different types, though. . .and I haven't tried them all.

I have found that brown rice tortillas are actually very good for sandwiches and such.

Some people with wheat sensitivities do alright with spelt, so you might want to try some spelt bread. Any health food store should have that.

I also eat these things called "Mary's Organic Crackers" they're super crunchy, and I'll use them if I'm having tuna salad or something.

get gluten free foods... those are really growing in popularity. There is some bread called Ezekiel 3:16 bread... no wheat... it tastes just like bread. I bought the raisin bread and it was very very good. It's in the organic freezer isle

Actually, the Ezekiel bread does have wheat in it, but no flour. I miss it more than anything.

And be careful, gluten free doesn't always mean "wheat free".
