Calorie intake while nursing??

I will be having my third baby in about two weeks, this time however, it is vital that I lose my baby weight quickly because of a medical condition that I've had for two years now.
Now, I'm trying to prepare for the weight loss process after baby, part of that being figuring out my calorie goal. So I input all the data required, the weight I'll be at after, how active I am, and so on... however there isn't a button I can click that says I'm nursing a baby, so my hope is that there are other women who know more about this than I do. Please any advice would be extremely helpful.

Being a male this may be weird to you but I am a big supporter of breast feeding so good for you!
Also women who breast feed are more likely to lose body fat fast than those who just diet and exercise alone.
That being said... You need to maintain a high nutrient rich diet.. With Fruits and veggies and lean protein .. Where MFP would recommend you eat say ( just a guess ) 1400 cals a day I would up it by 300-500 cals to ensure you and your little one is getting everything ya'll need.
There are a lot of awesome foods out there that will be good for both you .. Avacados... bananas.... Cook with Extra virgin olive oil etc....
For exercise I would do light walking and as long as you still maintain a deficit you should be able to0 -

The guy above is correct also. It is usually 300-500 more than if you were not breastfeeding.
PS: be sure to continue to take your prenatal vitamin the entire time you are breastfeeding also0 -

Taking your prenatal vitamins is so incredibly important while nursing! Or at least any vitamin. If you do not consume what your body needs for your baby, it will take the needed nutrients from your body - most often calcium, which is taken from your bones and teeth. I haven't had a cavity in almost 20 years (I'm only 29) and after nursing I had 2 cavities! I took the prenatals all throughout my pregnancy, but didn't know to keep taking them.
And by the way - yay for you breastfeeding...I am a huge BFing advocate, and I just love to hear when a woman is going to BF her baby :-)0
