....If the prepared calorie count on the Betty Crocker Helpers include the calories for the meat in them?
When I make the chicken alfredo I always cook the meat on the side in a grill and just prepare the rest
without it. I also do the liquids half and half instead of 2 cups of milk AND I use 1% milk. I'm stuck on
how to count this for me journal...HELP!!!

I believe the calories on the label are the facts for what's in the package. I would use the mfp recipe tool to calculate whatever you add.0

I don't think so. I had a look at the the nutrition labels on line. Check the protein number on the nutrition label on the box. If it is 4 grams (for example), no meat is included. If it says 26 grams (or so), then the meat is added in.0

Nice tip Ritalef. You know, all the years I've counted calories and I dont remember how I did it. The type of hamburger really makes a difference on calorie count. Hope you find the solution. Debbie0
