....If the prepared calorie count on the Betty Crocker Helpers include the calories for the meat in them?
When I make the chicken alfredo I always cook the meat on the side in a grill and just prepare the rest
without it. I also do the liquids half and half instead of 2 cups of milk AND I use 1% milk. I'm stuck on
how to count this for me journal...HELP!!!

    I believe the calories on the label are the facts for what's in the package. I would use the mfp recipe tool to calculate whatever you add.

    I don't think so. I had a look at the the nutrition labels on line. Check the protein number on the nutrition label on the box. If it is 4 grams (for example), no meat is included. If it says 26 grams (or so), then the meat is added in.
  • Nice tip Ritalef. You know, all the years I've counted calories and I dont remember how I did it. The type of hamburger really makes a difference on calorie count. Hope you find the solution. Debbie
