scared to weigh tomorrow

I know this is so stupid, but I dread weigh-in tomorrow. I've only been using MFP and exercising for 3 weeks. Since I started I've gained 1 lb. I only weigh once per week. The first week I had my calorie goals too low, and then I upped them the 2nd week based on all of my readings about BMR/TDEE and the appropriate deficit I needed. I feel better and I've been running (couch to 5k program) consistently. I guess I'm worried I won't see any loss and even worse a gain. I have a lot of weight to lose (to me) ~ 65 lbs. It's overwhelming to think about that and not see any loss after 3 weeks.

Don't weigh yourself then. Keep on doing what your doing for the next month and then weigh yourself. The scales aren't the be all and end all. Eat healthy and at a calorie deficit and exercise. Take your measurements this week if you haven't already and then no weighing or measuring until next month.0
