Running Skins

Hi I am thinking about buying some running skins,

Can anyone give me any advice or opinions, Please :flowerforyou:

    I know a few people who like them, but I prefer a pair of running shorts or yoga shorts and a sports bra. The most important thing that I find about running is making sure you have GOOD shoes. Other than that, just find what makes you comfortable.

    Really good shoes and a really good sports bra are the only necessities.

    I agree - wear good shoes (for me, it's the Nike Frees right now, as i'm transitioning into minimalist/barefoot running). I wear Asics Everysport shorts, Adidas Techfit bras, and UA tank tops and think that's the best thing in the world for running clothes. In the winter, I wear running leggings instead of shorts, and a Nike running jacket that's pretty form fitting.

    I would guess that they are really comfortable. I have a pair of compression shorts that I wear when I do my long runs runs, but I wear them under a pair of longer shorts, since I'm not really ready to show off my *kitten* and thighs in quite that much detail to the world yet. lol

    But seriously, I tried on a few pair of compression tights awhile back and they were ridiculously comfortable and I honestly wish that I had the confidence to wear them in public.

    That said, I agree with jtarmst, the shoes are the most important thing to splurge on and make sure are the best you can personally get. Everything else is just completely based on how comfortable it makes you. I personally wear bottoms that all cost under $15 and tops that were mostly free through various means and a couple of $10-$15 tops. My two non-shoe splurges were my $50 bra and my $6 socks. :)

    Thanks guys for all your advice. I already had good running shoes, as at the moment I am running 2-4 times a week about 5-6 miles.

    I am not to sure I could wear skins as they dont leave much to the imagination :blushing:

    I do need some new bottoms as mine are too big now (YEAH), so was thinking about Skins, might leave them for now till I have lost

    some more weight. Thanks again xxx
