Hi my name is Cheri . Joined fitness Pal recently. Need to loose 60 pounds total but just shooting for 20 right now. I have one friend here.

I'm also new, found the MFP website last Monday. I filled in all the information and started tracking my food. When I got my calorie goal (1200) and my BMR (1257) I though I was ready to go. On Wednesday, I discovered the message board and after reading a lot of information I knew I wasn't doing the program right. When I weighed in this morning I had gained .3 lbs. I'd really appreciate any help from the members. I know I'm probably not eating enough calories especially on the days I teach a water aerobics class and take another one. HELP!!!0
