Okay team - let's keep our focus!!

Look at how far you've come - how far we've all come!! There is no food out there - whether salty, sweat, creamy or crunchy that is worth us throwing it all away!! The fact that we're here shows that we know what needs to be done! We must dig deep, deep down inside & do what we've got to do! Find inspiration any way we can. Surround yourself with the tools that will make you successful! Whether it's ready made snacks, healthy fruits & vegetables or fitness magazines or a new dvd for motivation!

We are the blue TEAM!! Let's work together & get this thing done!!

I feel so out of our loop - I hate being busy at work and not being able to play - please know I am thinking about you guys.

I was really sore Sat night after the long run but woke up fine Sunday morning! Hubbys knees were sore but he doesn't run quite as much as me but I think he's ramping it up! This weeks an easier recovery week - only 10 miles total ....
    so
    tonight-strength and step
    tuesday - run 3 miles
    wednesday - (may swap wed/thur)
    Thursday - run 3 miles
    Friday - probably elliptical
    Sat - 4 mile run
    Sun rest

holidays and company make it hard to know for sure.

I was down .8 for todays weigh in - work hard everyone!!!!

Debnu -I've been there too. What keeps me on track is to forget about the past and to keep going forward. Also, remember how far you have come, and a couple of up pounds is nothing compared to what you have lost. It's just a number. Keep going, don't give up. Drink lots of water, watch your food closely. Think about the future, and don't let yesterday bring you down.

Very well said. Thank you so much for that motivation!

We believe in you debnu1. I know you can do this. Stick with what you know is right. As long as your doing the right things, the number on the scale is just simply a number. Keeping up the motivation is hard... so easy to give in. And there will be days when we do. The important part is to get right back on the right path as soon as possible.

Blues, I'm looking for some travel weightloss tips. My husband and I are headed back to the US tomorrow for a week and a half stay over Thanksgiving. We are staying with my in-laws but also doing some travel to visit my family in 2 other states. I'm already dreading Thanksgiving with a 2 pm dinner with my family and a 6 pm dinner with my husbands family. I'm really going to have to practice portion control!

I plan on bringing snacks to the airport for the plane ride. My husband and I both plan on making time for exercise. I know I have to eat small meals on a regular basis or I will pig out when food is placed in front of me. I'm planning on visiting the grocery store after we arrive and stocking up on some low cal snacks/fruit and some of the regular types of food we eat for breakfast/lunch.

I'm also concerned about jet lag, that always messes me up bad. I'm not sure I'll have a scale available to weigh in next monday either :ohwell:

    Any other tips?

Taradise I know you will do great :drinker: You are not going to undo all the hard work you have done
Debnu1 don't give up I know motivation is hard when the scale doesn't move but be proud of what you have accolpished so far and the rest will come.

I did 45 minutes on the elliptical last night then 1 hour of my wii fit and golds gym cardio. I know they are not very intense but at least I am up moving and not sitting on my butt.

I am planning an getting some great workouts in since hubby and his uncle both work Friday and Saturday and I have the whole weekend off

Hope yall have a great thanksgiving :flowerforyou:

While waiting on your planes, pace, don't sit.

    Drink lots of water.

Try to get protein and carbs in your snacks. You'll be more satisfied.

For the double whammy with thanksgiving-pick your favorites that each place has and only eat those....turkey is a great lean choice of protein just skip the skin.

    Smadag-- You Go girl!

Deb--funny this morning my husband was up 2 pounds and was ticked he said he lost more when he wasn't running. I told him your body holds it's fluid to repair your muscles from workouts....I ALWAYS weigh 2 pounds more the morning after weights...it gets really frustrating but if you know you are doing it right don't give up maybe just change from a walk to elliptical or rowing machine or go play soccer with the kids - suprise your body. Keep working at it girl!
