How to Keep Measuring

I'm still new at this, but I'm a little bad at this.
I just ate a big plate of homemade chicken and pasta and forgot to measure it out for MFP.
How do you guys measure things like this? Especially when you mix in sauce or have to make big quantities for your whole family.

If you are making a large batch, make it in to a recipe and save it on MFP. Make up your entire batch then divide it up into the serving sizes you want. However many servings you get, you put that in "serves X people".
For stuff that you just forgot to measure, try to remember what things look like when you DO measure them. If it was a big plate of chicken and pasta, you can probably count on at least 2 cups of cooked pasta, then you'll have to estimate on the chicken/sauce too.0
