Has anyone does the Dirty Girl Mud Run before?
My friends are signing up and want me to....I don't know if I'm at the level to be able to do this...
Has anyone done it before? How was it?

No but I've done other mud races before, If the idea of getting muddy and running through obstacles excites you than you are going to luv it!! Also wear capris or leggings, cuz crawling will hurt your knees, so that cover will make it easier to get through the tunnels etc. and maybe even using the training gloves that have a little padding and friction help climbing walls and ropes. Take extra clothes, water gallons to help rinse off (you'll find dirt everywhere and sometimes water pressure at the shower is weak), towels trashbags for your car, sunscreen or cover your shoulders and cheeks with mud to protect you a little. I tear away my beer ticket so it won't get lost in the race and I have my beer secured afterward umm take your time it's better to slow down then rush and get hurt. Also there are some nice people to help you get over the harder obstacles, but funny enough it was the other women, men will trample over you sometimes to finish faster haha0

I did the Chicagoland Dirty Girl run at the end of June. It's definitely a race that caters to people of all fitness levels. The race is not timed, nor are there rewards for being the best in your division, etc. When I did the race the runners ranged from super fit to super obese, so regardless of where you may be right now you should sign up to have a great time0
