Sugar

Just wondering if anyone has had any success with cutting out sugar, not as much for weight loss, but for curbing cravings. . I'm part way through reading "Sweet Poison, quit plan", which is about giving up sugar, which is 'supposedly' then going to curb appetitie for sugar, and the way I'm understanding it, other stuff too. I'm not entirely convinced, but would be interested to hear from anyone who's done this successfully.
