Thinking of up-ing my cals from 1200...to what?

So I'm thinking about trying to up my calorie intake to see if that helps me lose weight. But what should I up it to? 1500 seems like a good number, but is it too high? What did you guys in a similar situation up yours to? I'm 26 and 148 pounds. Goal weight is 125. I exercise 4 to 5 days a week at a fairly high intensity so I burn an average of 400 to 800 cals those days.
