So, I know that one way I keep interested and motivated in something is to read about it. I just finished Gretchen Reynold's The First 20 Minutes: Surprising Science Reveals How We Can: Exercise Better, Train Smarter, Live Longer which is a sort of survey of recent exercise studies. I found it very enjoyable and informative and, even better, it definitely motivated me to keep excercising!

I'm also in the middle of reading Shauna Reid's The Amazing Adventures of Dietgirl, which is her memoir of losing about 180 lbs. She's a fun and engaging writer. Reading about her journey has got me rededicated to losing weight.

Any books you find informative or motivating?

I don't know if you have seen Extreme Makeover Weightloss on TV but the guy Chris Powell has a book called... Choose to Lose. It's a good book and has helped me alot! Feel free to add me for support.

I found In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan to be incredibly informative and a great read. I'm reading The New Rules of Lifting for Women now and there's some great info in there - can't wait to get started on the first phase tomorrow. Vegetarian to vegetarian, Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer was thought-provoking, but probably not a whole lot of new information for you in there if you've already read quite a bit on the subject.

I'll have to check out the ones you mentioned. Thanks for the ideas!
