What's better? Walking then eating or eating then walking

Could be a silly question but does it make any different to how your food is processed?

1. Better to work up an appetite or to walk off some of your food after?
2. Is it the same if I walk between 6-7pm then eat at 7:30pm as it is eating at 6pm and starting walking at 8pm?
3. Is there a cutoff time when you shouldn't eat? Or does the body process food exactly the same if I eat something 2pm as 2am?

    4. Does it matter what time you exercise, early morning / afternoon / night?

As far as I know, your body can't tell time.

Eat and exercise at time that works for your schedule, and that you can maintain long term. I don't eat dinner until 9-10PM sometimes because that's when my day ends. Sometimes I work out at 6am, sometimes at 8pm. These fluctuations don't seem to have hindered my progress.

I think everyone's different - some people can wake up in the AM and go work out right away, and I can't. I gotta either get up early enough to eat breakfast and then workout or just not work out til evenings (which is what I usually do).

I've heard that it's better to work out at the same time every day; whether it's morning, noon or night - consistency of the time is best.
