Just so confused...

I had my son 11 months ago and have not been able to lose even one pound of weight since. I don't eat anything very bad. Cook most of my meals. I have in the last month or two cut out all snacks, sweets, sodas, and almost all greasy foods. I work full time at fedex so i'm constantly on my feet walking, lifting boxes (5-100 lbs) and climbing up and down vans. After work I'm either with my son or working horses for hours a day leaving me in breathless. Riding horses hard, jumping, breaking new horses, lots of groundwork, moving jumps, hauling hay bales, etc. My in shape friends can't keep up and yet i can't lose weight! I eat a minimal breakfast, nutritious lunch (usually grilled chicken breast and veggie kind of thing), and a medium sized dinner with the husband. I just don't understand why I can't seem to lose weight!

Suggestion...
Try to have a BIG breakfast! If your getting up and going, your body NEEDS something to burn off. I use to have a pack of high fiber oatmeal, 2tbsp of walnuts, my dan active immunity shots and 8oz glass of 2% milk.. I was yelled at lol. My trainer said you need NO to little carbs in the morning and MORE protein.
So I switched.. I have 1/2c of egg beaters with a sprinkle of 2% cheese, a cup of sauteed spinach (all mixed together) my glass of milk and dan active and its AMAZING how different I feel! Instant metabolism boast! You need to trick your body..
Try one thing at a time.. you'll get it!!0 -
could be portion size, just guessing but that's my first though. Hard for us to tell without knowing your numbers and what/how much you eat daily.0

Try measuring and logging all your food. You will be surprised at what you really eat.0

I'll second this!!!! I was surprised at what I "thought" was a serving size vs what actually was a serving size. It made a huge difference in my weight loss.0 -

I know how difficult it can be and it took me a LONG time to get to where I am today. However, I just took a peek at your food diary. I don't want to hurt your feelings, I am just here to help, but popcorn and a hershey's bar for breakfast?? It's great that you have cut calories and are exercising regularly but what you eat is even more important to weight loss. Adding more fruit and veggies to your daily meals will make a huge difference. Also, I commend you on eating Subway. Subway is a great tool but can also be an arch enemy if not used correctly. Cut your sandwich down to one 6 inch sub on wheat bread and keep the condiments light. Hope this helps, good luck to you!
Oh, also, be sure to drink the recommended 8 glasses of water per day. It makes a huge difference!0
