My boys and I are very excited that the Time Lord is coming back, looking forward to some new enemies, along with the regulars. So who's your favourite? I'm going with the Weeping Angels. Super creepy quantum locked monsters that they are!

I like the shadow creates that are like piranahs. Though the weeping angels are scary as F$%K!!! I love me some Dr. Who!0
-
The vashda nerada? ooh yes, super scary those too! Used to tell boy to stay out of the shadows all the time!0
-
I LOVE Doctor Who. More than is seemly. When's it back?0
-
And sorry, my favourite villains are the CYBERMEN.0

Villians: weeping angels & the Silence
silly villanesque: adipose!! (i wish my fat would get up and walk away!)
favorite doc: tie between Matt Smith & David Tennant
favorite companion(s): Amy, Rory & River
my sons love the weeping angels and the daleks. there is a great possibility that they'll be Dr Who characters for Halloween.0 -
Hmm.. I'd have to say the weeping angels are the scariest but the cat-nuns, forgotten their name are probably my fav
Favourite doctor has to be David Tennant without a doubt though!0 -
I'm torn between Tennant and Smith. I love them both. And I love how they're so different in character.0

The Weeping Angels aren't villians. Merely misunderstood...0

I involuntarily shuddered when I saw your profile picture........
I think possibly cybermen for me - I finally worked out why it is that I just don't like dolls... those blank staring faces....
and The Master. the Roger Delgado version. I think because he and Fu Man Chu stuck in my memory as a child.0 -

I'd have to say that the Weeping Angels are my favourite... big surprise there, I know! But all credit to Moffat for being able to make such a scary monster out of statues which don't move (except that once).0 -
1st September? Dammit. I'm going to a wedding.0

Blow off the wedding... obviously!0 -
Ah, well, the Weeping Angels are my favourite New Doctro Who villains. They scare the **** out of me because I have always been afraid of those creepy statues and now my brain has a creepy response when I tell myself "They can't hurt anyone, so there's no reason to be scared."
My all time favorites have to be the Daleks. They were the scariest TV monsters for decades! How many millions of people have childhood memories of hiding behind the sofa from the Daleks in the 60s, 70s and 80s?0 -
I used to hide behind the sofa from THE MUSIC, the Daleks were nothing compared to the terrifying theme tune.0
-
I can't blow off the wedding, but I could run a bit late to the reception...0

And this is why I'm glad you're my friend!! :drinker:
ETA: Weeping Angels are my favorite, followed very closely by the Daleks!!0 -
I love Doctor Who!! I liked the Weeping Angels, especially the first time. They were creepy!!0

Creepiest is The Weeping Angels
Favorite is The Master (John Simms)0 -
John Simms was amazing. Well, the first time. He wasn't well written the second time, but there was such glee in his performance.
But anyway...
My daughter, who is 6, was adamant that she see why the Weeping Angels are so scary. "They don't look scary", she said. So I let her watch Blink. Do you know how much patience you need to explain time travel to a six year old? Or really, any Moffat plot line?
Quite a bit, it turns out.
Then she demanded more. So I put on the Smith Weeping angel episodes. She saw the looped video clip and said, "that's not very scary." Less than a minute later she was hiding under the blanket shouting, "What's happening?!"0 -
The weeping angels actually made an appearance in my dream last night. :noway: My kids have been watching a lot of Dr. Who on Netflix here lately.0
-
Villian: Daleks, hands down
"Monsters": Judoon and Adipose
Doctor: 10th, obviously, because I ADORE David Tennant
Companions: Rose, Donna, Jenny (want her to come back), Capt. Jack, and Amy
Matt Smith has a much better chemistry with River than David so she's slowly growing on me.0 -
my husband got me hooked on dr who. I just can't get scared of the daleks once he made the crack about them being trash cans shooting lasers. my boys run around yelling "exterminate! my mission has failed. I will be eliminated(from the dr who video game)!" Daleks saying exterminate is the alarm that is set on my hubby's phone to alert him of an incoming message. We get so many laughs when it goes off in the oddest situations.
I love Capt Jack!!! yummy!0 -
I would have to go with the wheeping angels. My 7 year old son loves them! So seeing how much he enjoys them makes me like them even more then I already do! :-)0
-
I can't choose a favourite Doctor! I love them all equally apart from McCann. Didn't get to love him because that movie was so dire.0
-
Daleks are the best. But the weeping angels are the scariest. Holy cow.0
-
Either the weeping angels or the vashda nerada....0
-
mmm I don't know what Doctor Who is. Must google. But I do have an owl pillow on my bed that is named Dr. Hoo because he looks wise and owls say hoo. :happy:0
-
I just only recently started watching and am just about to finish up season 2, and so far I love the daleks. But I misssssss the ninth doctor!0
