I wouldn't trust it for calories burned. It gave me over 400 cals this morning for 2 miles. I'm a 5ft tall 115lb woman, I didn't burn that much. Also, it is consistently giving me extra distance. Like this morning 2 miles registered as 2.37. Annoying. I'm just using it as fun to encourage a friend to exercise. I tried using it simultaneously this morning with mapmywalk app and that one gave me the correct 2 miles. And mapmywalk said I burned 140 cals.0

I think the miles it clocks up are pretty accurate, in fact they are slightly lower than my speedometer that I have fitted but I am a bit concerned about the calories even though they are lower than mfp are telling me0
