Runner's High

So, I think for the first time ever I experienced a "runner's high" last night

I haven't really set any goals except to run 30 mins solid. Last night, I was at 29 mins (I had already stopped to walk a couple times though...so my goal setting was over...so I thought) and I looked and realized I was at 4.66km - my mind started turning, I have no idea how long it normally takes me to run .33km, but I wondered if MAYBE I could do it in a min...so I poured it on...well I didn't make it at 30 mins, but I kept going so strong thinking the faster I go, the closer I am to 30 mins...I felt SO GOOD - never felt that way at the end of a 30 min run before, and I felt so strong running as fast as I could. I ended up doing the 5km in 31 mins, 10 sec.

Tonight...I run! :)

    I love runners high :D I get mine right around 5k, and then I lose track of everything and just run.
