Is it a a bad thing to go over in protein allowance? My calories, fat, etc balances are always fine but I am almost always over in protein, anywhere between 5-30 grams per day. My protein is coming from foods like cottage cheese, greek yogurt, eggs, black beans, natural peanut butter, chicken/turkey, milk. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!

Do you have kidney issues or have been told by your doctor at a physical you should watch your protein intake? Then no and the MFP recommendation is way too low. That is one of the few things that most every user here will agree to. Probably the only thing.
I get 100+ per day and it is recommended and highly encouraged by my doctor to get at least that during weight lost as it fills you up and helps you keep lean muscle.0
