Too much protein hurting my weight loss?

I have been keeping a strict diet, staying slightly under my daily totals in all areas except protein. Will this seriously impact my results or can I overlook this if otherwise I exercise 60 minutes every day, keep the rest of my diet otherwise pretty SPOT on? How much Protein is too much? And if I go over by a quarter to half way over will this significantly impact results if the protein is always lean and healthy?

Advice appreciated! I’m new to this healthy thing!

    obviously a balanced diet is healthy. but technically too much protein doesnt hurt. a friend of mine is really lean and is all muscle , he basically eats all protein and no carb. again i dont recommend an all protein low carb diet. but a lot of people lose weight this way
