New Rules of Lifting for Women is really confusing me.

I've read the work outs over and over and I still don't get it. I'm in Stage 1. On page 149 there is Workout A.
For Workout A, is the ENTIRE work out A, B1, B2, C1, and C2 in one work out? In all boxes there is Workout 1, Workout 2, etc up to 8...what the heck is that?

Could someone please explain a bit better than the book? :flowerforyou: I'm assuming that for Workout A I would do:
Squat 2x15
Push up 2x15
Seated Row 2x15
Step-up 2x15
Prone jackknife 2x8
And that would be a workout. Is that correct?

Thanks, not trying to sound like a dummy.

Basically, if i understand correctly you would do
    squats-15
    squats-15
    push ups-15
    seated row-15
    push ups-15
    seated row-15
    step ups-15
    Jacknife-8
    step ups-15
    jacknife-8

so the exercises with no number after you do sets back to back
the sets with numbers you alternate one set then the next exercise then back for the second set.

As far as wprkouts 1,2,3 etc. You would do the sets of 15 for the first two of each workout a and workout b. After you do those twice then you would move to 3,4 which is lower reps. Do those twice and then move to 5,6....hope that makes sense lol.
  • Okay, that actually makes sense to me. Thank you so much!
