Just looking on opinions as to reflective gear you recommend when jogging @ night.

Thanks!

I run around country lanes which are used by quite a few drivers as shortcuts too and from Cardiff and always wear something bright and reflective as the come flying around some of the corners. I also have a head torch for winter evening runs, I would definitely recommend reflective gear if you are running on roads

My belt has a reflective strip. I wear my running shirts with small reflective strips when running at night. I also use small bikers lights (red for the back, white for the front) when running after dark.

This was what I did. Aldi and lidl sell running and cycling gear, and it all comes with reflective patches and piping. The red flashing light on the back works really well as it is quite bright.

I borrow my husbands reflective belt and I bought some reflective tape and put some on the heels of my shoes!
  • I don't get out at night much anymore since I broke my foot running at night - pnly me! However, I have a reflective vest I wear when I do go out on summer nights/early mornings and I have a jacket from http://www.ruseen.com/ to use on colder evenings.
