Thanks again everyone! I have to remember that this is not instantaneous and that it will take time! The most important things is that there is no more smoking and I am exercising! Both of these are good for me!!

I would also recommend logging your measurements asap!! It really helped me (and continues to help) on days where I feel "fat" or if I'm not losing weight, if you see the inches dropping away.

I agree with logging your measurements. You may be shrinking, but not necessarily losing weight. But most important...Do you feel different?

BTW congrats on the no smoking! That in itself is something to celebrate! Be proud of yourself! Don't be discouraged!

Looking at your diary I can say that you arent very consistent.

    Eat the 1500 every day.
    Workout 3-4x a week tops.
    Sleep well.
Take an Omega 3 daily, multivitamin daily, probiotic daily.
Lift weights or fast to break insulin resistance.
    Walk for cardio.

I agree! Awesome job in making healthy choices!!

Don't be discouraged, you're doing amazingly well already! The scale isn't the whole story. From your post it sounds like you are making some big changes - you deserve a pat on the back. Stick with it!
