Best Video To Start With?

Hi there!

I am wondering what everyone thinks is the best workout video to start with. I am looking for something for 3-4 days per week that focuses more on upper body and abs. The running I am doing is making a big difference in my lower body so I'm not too concerned with that, but of course I wouldn't mind toning that as well. I just don't want to get my legs too tired where running becomes too hard. I am aiming for my first 5k October 6, and I am determined to do it!

I have been doing the 100 push ups, 200 sit ups, 200 squats and 150 dips programs and I'm in the middle of Week 3. I started with this to get my body prepared to handle a tougher workout, and even though this is still challenging, I would like to challenge myself even more.

Thanks everyone!!

I started with the 30DS. It was good for me. I never did any upper body workouts before so I saw a dramatic difference in my upper body when I was done. It does also work the legs, if you find that it is too much of a leg workout, perhaps you modify those exercises until you are done with your running program.

Since them I have done 30 day Shred and Shed, Ripped in 30 and now I am doing Turbo Jam. In hindsight, I would still have started with the 30 DS. It was a great starter for me.

Another who started with 30 day shred. It was the very beginning to me working out ever. I felt it worked well and wasn't too much to start with.

I decided to start with the 30 Day Shred, just picked it up, along with weights. With all the before/after pics it was too hard to pass up. I see people get great results!! Starting tonight, can't wait!
