Today marks one consecutive month of burning 1,000 calories a day (also 23 days without a sugar drink ... soda, juice, etc.).

During that month, I've worked out for 3,000 minutes (50 hours), burnt 35,000 calories, lifted 360,000 pounds, done 8,000 situps and run about 200 miles. 26 months ago, I couldn't run a quarter mile or bench 100 pounds.

I'm not posting this to brag. I'm posting it because I think it's important to show people that you can do anything you put your heart and mind into.

That is a great accomplishment! Rest days is something I struggle with all the time, do you alternate Cardio and lifting days?

I just checked my numbers for the last 30 days and I was at 28 out of 30 days, with a total burn of 28,076

I think the reason I'm able to keep the pace, besides being in pretty good shape for a change, is that I don't lift long (about 30 minutes). I also take a day or two off a week from lifting and throw some Tae-Bo in once a week in place of running to rest my joints.
