Anyone use these? Got a routine you do with them?

I have a set of Bodylastics bands and would recommend that brand. The bands come marked with the different weight/resistance and clip onto handles, ankle straps, and door anchors, so you can combine weights and the accessories for a wide variety of exercises and increase resistance as you progress. They also have a great warranty and replacement policy. I haven't been using them lately (I found out I really like bodyweight routines so I've been focusing on those) but I was very pleased with them when I was using them.
  • My very considered opinion is that resistance bands are the second best thing to buy in the fitness market place, the GymBoss timer being number one, and number three a HRM.

Resistance bands, do break. They do degrade, (bodylastics are good at not degrading), they are not a fixed progression in the same way that you go from a 5 kilogram DB to a 10 kilogram DB and so on and so forth. You can though for very little money, have the equivalent of 240lb of weights and if you look how much that weight costs then that demonstrates the brilliance of RB's.

Search on Youtube - full body resistance band workouts - there are some great trainers out there providing fantastic w/o's for free.

www.functionalpatterns.com is an advanced trainer who does some great demonstrations.
