Personally, I'd eat ice cream... for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Hope you're feeling better soon! :flowerforyou:

Haven't tried this yet, but it's on my list of recipes to try:

    Tomato-Fennel Soup
    Prep Time:15 min
    Start to Finish:40 min
    makes:6 servings (1 cup each)

    1 tablespoon olive oil
2 medium bulbs fresh fennel, chopped (3 cups)
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 can (28 oz) Muir Glen® organic whole peeled tomatoes, undrained
    1 3/4 cups Progresso® reduced-sodium chicken broth (from 32-oz carton) or 1 can (14 oz) vegetable broth
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt (kosher or sea salt)
    1/8 teaspoon pepper

    1. In 4-quart saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook fennel, onion and garlic in oil about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender. Stir in tomatoes, broth, salt and pepper.
    2. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Carefully pour half of the mixture into blender; cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth. Repeat with remaining mixture.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.

    Oh, and my breakfast staple:

    1/2 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt
    1/2 cup Trop50
whatever frozen fruit you have or sounds tasty (personally I LOVE strawberries and pineapple)
    wheat germ and/or flax seed

    blend and enjoy!

1 (12 ounce) package firm silken tofu
1 cup fat free soy milk
    1 banana
    1 cup raspberries
1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate

Blend until smooth (this will help you maintain your protein). one container of tofu has 20 grams of protein.

  • Imagine foods makes some great soups that are healthy!!! The lower sodium line is great, most of them are gluten and casein free (in case this applies to someone else reading this thread) and they are organic. We've tried the garden tomato, garden broccoli, red bliss potato with roasted garlic and cuban black bean chowder. All are excellent and liked by all four of my kids ages 2-16. If they pass that test, you know they're good, lol.

hmm, that sucks, I guess lots of protein shakes, lots of apple sauce, lots of mashed cauliflour, and lots of milk shakes (see protein shakes above) for desert.
