Logging for the Doctor this week

I've been struggling with extreme fatigue for a long time. I'm not depressed. I'm vegetarian (for 18 years) but I get enough protein and take iron and b12 among other vitamins.
I've been logging and working out since June and I'm down about 30 lbs so far. My health coach says keep it up and I am, but I'm still tired ALL THE TIME. Making myself workout is hell. I drink over a gallon of water a day. It's hard for me to fall asleep (always has been) but I sleep 7 or 8 hrs a night. This isn't a result of the new healthy lifestyle, if anything I've seen improvement since this summer.
I got my thyroid checked this week and all my blood work has been normal. I'm worried my doc will see my log and just blame it on too few calories. I eat about 1200-1400 day. I'm just going to log as usual and see what happens. It is weird that I almost wish they had found something in my blood work to explain this? I don't wanna be sick. I just want to have an answer and an end in sight, ya know?

I would have to see your diary to make an opinion on the possibility of something missing but I think you are probably eating too few calories, especially if exercising.0

Yes, lets see that diary!0

k. I mostly log in a book I have and use MFP to attain values for the things I don't have so there are blank days here when I'm not online.0

If I ate that little, I would feel like crap too. When I don't eat enough, I feel tired, exhausted, etc even when working out. If you know you need to eat more, and are wondering what's wrong, why not try it?? Coffee and an energy drink doesn't count as a meal, sadly.0

I appreciate it. I just want to add that I don't ever feel deprived. If I'm hungry, I eat. I have bbq days full of good veg burgers and even beer. I'm not starving! haha0

I think eat more calories, but less processed foods. You will feel better with your body properly nourished.0

Why not try one day eating all of your calories, or maybe two and see how you feel? Severely restricting calories, then having a higher calorie day sometimes works wonders for weight loss.0

I log every day and print reports for my doctor and a specialist from MFP. It actually has most everything that they want to see on it. Everything more has to come from lab tests. I also keep a journal of what's going on with me during this time for them and they can take a look at that any time there's anything out of the ordinary. Like major fatigue or arthritic spells, migraines etc.0

Thanks I think this will be my plan for wknds in Sept and then see where I am.0 -
I had the same thing happen. I went to Doctor and was diagnosed with a sleep disorder. I thought I was anemic with some sort of hormone issue. Sometimes its best to let the Dr. handle it.0
