So this may be a stupid question..

I'm starting uni soon and that means I won't have time to cook single meals everyday. So i'm thinking I will cook some meals in the weekend and freeze.

But let's say I make a lasagna with 4 servings. I weigh everything before I cook it, the weight is 1500g and the total amount of calories is: 2500.

So that would mean each serving would be: 375g with 625 calories.

So when the lasagna is cooked it only weighs 1000g

So that would mean: 250g with 625 calories.

So to get the same amount of calories the serving size would be less? Because all the water in the vegetable ingredients has evaporated? Right?
