just had to share . . .I don't hate photos of me anymore!

My parents were down visiting my family last week. Whenever they come, we always have such a good time but my parents love to take pictures. I used to always cringe a few days after they leave because the dreaded email would come with the dreaded photos. sigh. Well, for the first time that i can remember, I opened those photos and was pleasantly surprised. I actually like this photo!! I wasn't picking it apart for all of my physical shortcomings!! Hey - look at me!! I look like a contented, happy individual!

Please note - I have at least 15-25 pounds left to go. I am sure that some will look at this photo and see their before pic, but that is ok. I am content knowing that I am still on the road. I love NSVs!!! They are so much better than scale victories.

Just to refresh - this is my before pic at 225 pounds.

And here is the photo that made my day!! In this photo I am 174 pounds.

This NSV is one that I think will stay with me for quite a while - you look gorgeous, your eyes are stunning. What will stay with me is that I bet you keep going back to this photo and looking at it, marvelling that it is you. Well done, enjoy, you clearly have worked hard and deserve it. :happy:
