My safe bet is chicken & broccoli. Check out the caloric content on MFP before you go. If you will be tempted to have rice, measure out what 1/2 or 1 c. would look like at home so you don't overeat. I normally order this as take out and eat the whole pint, & have 1/2 c. of white rice that comes with it. Even if you go over your calorie limit for the day, you're entitled!!

Whichever one your willing to pay for by doing cardio
  • Whatever you get, you can ask for steamed veggies and no sauce.

Soup is good if they have it. Chicken and sweetcorn or wonton soup.

Depends on the type of chinese restaurant really - if it's kind of authentic it will have steamed buns and dumplings - delicious and relatively low cal. I love prawn dumplings, shanghai dumplings etc. If it's the bog standard type that are two-a-penny (in the UK at least) everything is kinda greasy and you'll struggle.

If they have something steamed or grilled (fish?), get that with a soup on the side.

My chinese place offers "diet" dishes. They are steamed and come with a tasty sauce on the side. I get it without the rice. Otherwise, I eat mu shu pork since it's mostly cabbage(but without the pancakes).
