I stayed the same this week (LW 176 lbs.) (CW 176 lbs.) I did 330 minutes of exercise this week between hiking and the gym.0

ok no gain/no loss, Im ok with that the gain is what I did not want. I only did 130 mins. of exercise this week. I will do better this week. I will loose next week even with the holiday. I am not upset because I have been working hard and tomorrow I will do my measurements.
Even with all the food on table I just had my supper last night. No urges to eat sweets. :drinker: and stayed under my calories :bigsmile: Now that I realized what was stressing me I feel a whole lot better.
Kelly we will loose next week, I was out of control as well. You have a great attitude and hope I can follow your example.

Good Morning all,
weight-244.4, exercise-173. It a loss so I am happy, but really need to step up on the exercise. May gain all of it back today. They are having a thanksgiving lunch at the office today,so hopefully I can behave. Good luck everyone.
I think our challege for next week is have a normal serving spoon of everything wait 5 min after done eating and make another plate of the stuff you like most and eat it 2-3 hours later. When everyone is miserable you get to eat again and your body will burn it off better because it knows it get to eat again, instead of shocking your system to much at once. I do this before and gain no weight over the holidays. The key is to satisfy your cravings and not denie yourself without the guilt0 -
Reporting another gain of 1.4 pounds. I am at 210.4 this week. I blame the baby this week. I have been doing good on food this week (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always difficult for me because I don't go to the gym, but last weekend wasn't as bad as normal. I really was hoping to be down a bit this week but had a feeling that was not going to happen.:grumble: I did get 650 minutes of exercise in this week. My week day mornings are usually spent at the gym swimming so I was able to meet my goal in 4 days this week instead of 5 days. Last Friday, I had felt a little discomfort in my lower abdomen so I took it easy instead of swimming. Do any of you guys use the Wii fit? If so, do you count that as exercise or just play time? I did 15 minutes on the wii fit yesterday and I am not sure if I should count that as exercise or not. I did not include it in my exercise minutes for this week. My 650 minutes is my actual exercise minutes from the gym. Have a great day Smokin' Hot Green Peppers!0

Good morning everyone!! I weighed in today at 227, down another 2.2 lbs!! I got in 95 minutes of exercise.

OK ladies I gained very slightly
And I weighed in after I ate a sandwich so .... I estimate I gained really nothing.
Current weight 167.8
Overall, I'm not concerned about the weight this week. I ate a WHOLE box of Girl Scout cookies by myself yesterday and I ate quite of bit of Cub Scout popcorn. So.............
Like last week, I did 350 minutes of exercise.
Yesterday one of the work supervisors commented on it looks like I'm losing weight. She also commented on how great it was to help another co-worker w/her fitness. A new co-worker and I walk 20-30 minutes on lunch daily and run 1-1.5 miles up to 3 days a week.
Next week the school is 1/2 days so I'll be home more often.

Well the office thankgiving lunch was good. I ate but did not overdo it so I am ok with that. Will walk tonight to make sure I keep on keepin on. Hope to hit the gym Saturday and Sunday. So much to do so little time. Hope everyone is having a good friday!!!:flowerforyou:0

hi to my pepper team...
i went shoppin today to get our doggies some food, take cans in for return and then buy some meat (pork) that was on sale....ok, do any of you buy food in mass when it is on sale? seems like ever since the recession hit i have been hoarding food. i just feel so embarassed sometimes....:blushing: darn car found its way to a burger joint....no control here gang, and i am just so miserable. so full, that i am having reflux.....not doing good at all here.....someone needs to scream and yell at me.....Jan 19 will be a yr for me...and i do not want to be at the 210 mark. i really would like to be in the lower 70's by 2010...up to me, i know...really slippin here...

tryin to get motivated here....gonna push the fluids tonite and just do my best tomorrow. me and my sis are goin to my folks....the new carpet and lanoleum are down and we're gonna dust her wood work, and vacuum out the heat/air ducts, then start puttin stuff back. 6 rooms in all. should be fun as i have not seen my sis in a couple mos, and we live like 20 mins apart! :huh:
oh, i gotta sick pugger too, she feels bad and is kinda hidin from all of us...her breathing is labored and her nose is runnin', and she is shivering...just finished cleanin my kitchen, bath and vacuumed the 1st floor. will sit and love my Lily now....:smooched:

hope you guys are all enjoying the weekend. had a good time with my mom, dad, sis and her 2 kids yesterday. eatin wasn't the healthiest, but am on track for today, "clean" so far.
Lily ended up having a temp of 103*, so we gave her some meds and within a 1/2 hr she was much better.... don't like it when my puggers are sick :frown:
will be home most of the day doing chores and maybe gettin out xmas things....weather gonna get icky soon. short week here, only 2 school days.

Wii Fit is exercise, IMO!! I've been counting it. I just started using my Wii Fit for strength training and yoga. I actually log the time as those activities because it is strength training and yoga. I'm already seeing the results after a week. As far as the cardio is concerned, if you are sweating it is exercise!! I just added Fit Plus to DH's GameFly.com account so I could try it before I actually spent money on it. I'm excited to see how they've improved it. Just being able to set up routines would be nice.0 -

Glad you had fun at your parents'. I understand about not seeing your sister. Mine lives 4 houses down and we can go weeks without seeing each other. And we can easily go months without seeing our oldest sister.

I can't believe it. I'm actually managing to keep under my calories so far this weekend!!! :flowerforyou: I know today isn't done, but I already have everything planned and about 150 caloires to spare!! But, I am making pot roast for dinner, so it will be tempting to over eat. I don't know if I'm challenging myself or torturing myself!!! I just really want to be good because of Thanksgiving. I haven't decided yet, but I think I'm going to really push myself and keep my weigh in on Friday.:noway:0

I really dont know how I did over week end I did not log. I did not over eat, but I only got 20 min walk to class in on Sat. for exercise. But ran up and down stairs doing tons of laundry. :laugh: Very funny I have a walking partner today. One of my clients keeps saying she is going to walk with me durning lunch, but never does. She was dressed for walking today, we shall see. :laugh:
Kelly I guess my attitude changed when I realized what my problem was. I am normally very possitive. Even with Turkey day a couple of days away I dont feel stressed. I am trying to get back on track as well.
This is how I am going to get started back into it. I will do my walk today and I will be eating smaller portions, waiting 20 mins and if still hungry I will go for fruit or veggie. I dont get on the computer at home on the week ends, but I will start logging on week ends too, will have to do it early in morning before everyone gets up. We have 17 people coming for dinner on Thursday, so I will have a very busy day (will keep me moving plus I will do my workout after bird goes in oven :drinker: )

Trying to continue to be good. At least it is a little easier through the week when I'm not around the house and all the food that resides there. DH and I are headed to the gym after work. If he cancels on me again, I'm giving up on him. It is more convient for me if I don't have to wait around on him to go. I'm only waiting for his benefit and if he can't make the effort, I'm going to stop trying.
I realized I'm only 18 lbs for being considered overweight instead of obese. I know it isn't realistic, but I would love to be able to go into 2010 not being obese. I just don't see it happening in the next 5-6 weeks, especially not with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and 2 family birthdays between now and then. Maybe if I was on the Biggest Loser ranch.... :laugh:0 -

Well I had some family issues come up at the end of the week, major blow up!!. I think it just to much stress but anyway, ran away to my aunt B house and over ate, baked and alot of girl talk. So I know I am going to pay for that. Well DD b-day today and of course he wants Italian food, so I am gonna pay for that too. I say we weight in Thursday before we all indulge a little for the big dinner.
I so want a Wii for christmas, but dont think its gonna happen. I would love to do the Wii fit.
Crystal- I know with all the stuff going on it maybe a little harder, but you keep going the way you are you will get there soon enought!!

Good Afternoon Pepper's,
I know about stress and what it did to me in the last couple of weeks and I know it is tough with the Holidays ahead. Like some of you told me we can do what we can do.
Crystal the person I was going to walk with tells me everyday I will go for that walk and I wait only a couple of mins and that is that, walked alone again today. I think it is great you want to do this with your DH, but dont let him hold you back you need to do this for you.
For the holiday dinner I am going to do as suggested take a serving of each and wait. Most of the dinner is veggies its the stuffing that gets me. but I wlll not worry about it. This time last year I fell off so I am just glad I am still here and doing what I can.
Got to get back to work, have a nice afternoon :bigsmile:0 -
