Are you eating right?

I am a blog reader, I read them all day long. I go to some regularly, and I also just peruse. I do it so much that sometimes I actually feel like I know these ladies. In the past year I have found out that I have a bad thyroid, gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, and my daughter has been diagnosed with health problems. Its been a stressful year, but these girls, my "blogurls", have helped me keep it together.
One thing that I have learned from beautiful bexlife.com, is that I'm NOT doing it right! I'm eating right, just not at the right times.
For someone like myself who is sensitive to EVERYTHING! I have to eat my fruits seperately. This to me was a novel idea. I had never heard of such a thing. My mom fed us from all the food groups, she would put fruit, veg, meat and a grain on the table at dinner. I thought that was how you did it.
Bex recommended that you take your fruit on an empty stomach, and let that digest. Then move on to different food groups. For a gilr who needs her fuit especially in the summer time, I thought "no fruit at dinner!?!?!?!", not ever gonna happen. Let me tell you, I thought well, let me do try for a week. I have a peach for breakfast. MMMMMMMM soooo good! Perfectly in season, juicy and wonderful. 68 calories and I am all set until I go to work. By about 2 ( because I work late and sleep late) I need a snackie! Rocky Ford Cantaloupe here I come. One serving of fruit later and I can make it to dinner. On work nights I just make a vegetarian salad chock full of one half avacado, black beans, and mushrooms. I have a sedentary job, dont judge me.
On my friday's I induldge on a burrito bowl from Chipotle, which still puts me in a great place calorie wise. That way over the weekend I can have a slice of cake (or some other food abomination)!
This idea has been life changing for me. I have been losing about 3lbs a week. When I get to do my workouts sometimes more. Now dont get too far ahead, Its only week two and I'm only down 7lbs, but still, Im happy with it.
If you decide to try it and it works let me know, or even let Bex know! Thanks for reading everyone!

So you weren't eating right according to one blog and you changed everything? What about the 10,000 blogs you were eating right on?0

Actually I was never eating wrong, I was pairing my food wrong. I eliminated fruit while eating other foods and ate my fruits on an empty stomach, and let it digest before I moved on to another food group.0
