So lovely to have a stressful day at work. Came home and just had that feeling that I wanted to eat and eat and eat until I burst. Instead I'm posting here.

How do you all deal with emotional eating?

    I get on MFP an start reading anything and everything to get my mind off it! Success stories help a whole lot :) I'm an emotional binge eater as well and so far this strategy has helped me. I also remove problem trigger foods from the house and bring in healthy alternatives when I want to binge. Getting your mind to change gears helps you forget whats going on and onto something else. Whatever was bothering you soon becomes less important and you move on.

    I admit sometimes I give in and snack alittle more than I should but most of the time I dive right into workout and kick and punch my stress and anger away.

    Well sitting here reading message boards seems to have worked to avoid the mass eating. Although not as beneficial as working out might have been. Thanks for the advice.
