Walking while pushing stroller - calories burned??

Quick question - There is an entry in the exercise database for Pushing or pulling stroller with child and also several entries for walking at various speeds. So if you are walking at a moderate pace pushing a stroller with child - do you enter both activities? If not it seems strange that the Pushing or pulling stroller with child entry burns less calories than walking at a leisurly pace. Thanks!

Enter in your weight then find "Push stroller with child", enter the minutes there.
I use this site to estimate it.

then added it to MFP. When you change the time next time you bring it up in MFP it will calculate it based on the new time for you.0 -
It seems that every calculator out there assumes that if you are pushing a stroller than you are walking at a "leisurely pace". I did find an article that estimated (based on a peer reviewed study) that pushing a stroller burns approximately 18% more calories than walking along (this was at 3.0 mph with varying slopes - similar to rolling hills). Sooo - I am just adding .5 mph to my speed when I log my walk - it works out to about 13% more calories. I've put the link to the article below.

I usually log mine as walking pushing stroller, I found out that I was actually burning more calories than MFP logged.0

Easy. Use the speed entry if that's what's more appropriate. Usually pushing a stroller is more leisurely. Most people don't speed walk their kids. Except me. I speed walk my kids. But I have a HRM.0

After I had my babies, I got very fit from not only going to the gym, but pushing the heavy double stroller up hill. Great for the glutes!!0
