Not working out after dinner, bad?

Hey guys, this is my first post ever on MFP!
I started my diet on Monday (have lost a total of 4.9 pounds in two days!) and work out for 45 ish minutes daily. I usually work out after dinner, but I've already gone about 110 cals over my daily calorie burning goal. Would it be terrible if I took a night off to spend time with my family?
