I started working out by accident - long story lol
i lost 45lbs felt great
a dear old friend was going thru this with me he lost 80lbs
long story short
he stopped & gained it back
due to life issues we dont talk very much anymore
he was my motivation, he was my support, now i cant seem to get back on track
i gained back 10lbs
we agreed to get back into this seriously about a month ago
i started again, he didnt, so i stopped again
i keep finding excuses, I know all the things everyone will say
but i cant seem to get motivated again

You have to lose this weight for YOU. Not because of someone else. If he starts and stops again you have to make a commitment to keep on going. I was in the same situation with my sister and neice. We all started together, but they slacked off and stopped after a couple of pounds lost. I kept on going and now I've lost 18lbs and counting. You have to think of the important reasons why you want to lose the weight, and how you will go about losing it.
You have to depend on you, and no one else. Maybe your determination will inspire him to get back on track, and if not, well hey, you have to do it for you. Because you're that important. It sounds to me like you just need a little support and encouragement. Well here's MFP!! That's why we're here Feel free to add me as a friend. You CAN do it, and I believe in you. One pound at a time!0 -
Do it for yourself hun , think about how you will feel when you achieve your goal and you will know that you and noone else is responsible, i'm here if you ever what any support and encouragement, but you can do it and i believe in you. I have just had to re loose just over a stone that I already lost once before and it is harder and more frustrating when you have to loose it for a second time, make the most of today and get back on track before you get any further behind, don't leave it till tomorrow as tomorrow never comes ) xxx0
