New member saying Hi :-)

Hi All

I'm a new member and feeling like I've an awfully high hill to climb to get to an ideal weight...hoping for some moral support to replace that found in the biscuit barrel...

    Welcome! Ur either going to love MFP or hate it...It's all in what you put into it. I find reaching nutrition and fitness goals, if turned into a friendly self-competition, can be quite fun and a whole lot less tedious. Figure out what works for you. I like the ease of keeping tabs of my intake that MFP offers...The phone app is like AWESOME! Makes life ultra easy. I only wish I came across this years ago. Who knows, I may have met my goal a long time ago...If not, been able to keep off the many extra pounds that kept piling on once I exceeded the 10-20 pounds over.
