Worked out this morning - hungrier by far! HELP

Hey there, I worked out this morning 45 mins of intense cardio... (well intense for me, as I'm only just starting off!) and I've found I've been much more hungry today than usual. Is this the norm if you work out in the mornings??
My usual workouts are 4pm-5pm in the late afternoons.
