Well my brother knows a lot about strength training, and he's been giving me tips to get a stronger upper body.
But now I was a nice *kitten*. One of those perky ones that make you go 'dayum'.

glute bridge or barbell hip thrust produces more glute (butt muscles) activation than any other exercise (yup, more than squats)
Google 'Bret Contreras' and read his blog/artices about weight training for women.

Lunges, squats.
I do those already. My *kitten* is still a 6/10 at best0 -
^^^ That's interesting about glute bridge w/ a barbell. I just added those in to my routine this week and I thought they were pretty easy and comfortable, which to me always means unproductive. LOL Maybe I'll use more weight next time. I'm glad to hear they are good because they are so much more fun than squats!!
I do a few sets of squats, lunges (all kinds), step ups, and deadlifts (regular and one legged) twice a week. Those are the best for working out that butt!0 -

Do you do them with weight? You should be. Hit the squat rack for the squats and for lunges I've found the best results for me doing them on the Smith machine.0 -

I dooooo :c Ahhh, maybe I'm just being impatient, and should increase the weights0 -
I do free weights now, but had pretty good results with leg press and glute press machines at the gym. It did good things for my bum.0

How much weight? to get a great squat butt, you should be aiming to do lots. Like, a couple hundred pound if you can (this takes months to build up to.)0 -

Deadlifts as well. When you thrust your hips forward at the top of the movement, squeeze your glutes hard.0
